While we had to wait until the fall for the postponed BRAD events, we celebrated BRAD virtually on Thursday, April 16th by honoring the animals AND the animal care staff and research community. Individuals shared photos of themselves, their family, and their pets showing their appreciation for the scientists and animals attempting to find a cure for COVID-19. Some demonstrated their creativity through art, BRAD coloring sheets and the white board activity. ​Others shared stories about their role in laboratory animal medicine and studies with animals that have directly impacted their lives. We loved seeing the scientific community come together on social media to support animal research.
